Rev. Daniel Tilley, Senior Pastor

Pastor Dan has served as the Senior Pastor of Guess Road Baptist Church since July of 2008. He is a graduate of North Carolina Central University with an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. He earned a Master of Divinity with Christian Education from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Prior to coming to GRBC, Pastor Dan has served churches in Virginia, Nevada, Oregon and North Carolina.

Pastor Dan is married to his bride of 22 years, Kimberly Fowler Tilley. They have two sons, Gabriel and Harrison.

When Pastor Dan is not working for the Lord, he enjoys the great outdoors the Lord has created and spending time with family and friends. 

Christopher Clark, Minister of Music/ Children’s Ministry Director

Originally from Wilmington, NC, Chris joined the GRBC staff as Minister of Music in June 2009.  After answering the call to ministry in 2005, he has served churches in Kure Beach, Louisburg and Raleigh, NC before coming to Guess Road.  He holds an Associate of Arts degree from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC and a Bachelor of Arts in Christian studies with a minor in Music from the College at Southeastern in Wake Forest, NC. In the Fall of 2011, Chris began work on a Master of Divinity with Worship Leadership degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Chris loves having the opportunity to serve the Lord through music.  In addition to being our Minister of Music, Chris recently became our Children’s Ministry Director.  He oversees the coordination our children’s programs and activities.  He also enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching UNC basketball.
